The simple but pretty undertones of the iridescent colors reflecting off of these two barrel-shaped beads reminds of a galaxy far away.
 
(Fun Fact: The galaxy is the symbol of hopes, wishes, aspirations and desires for the future. It also has a remarkably distinct vibration and freedom of movement.)
 
I purchased the beads as is, but they are kiln fired with pieces of iridescent glass which give it the dichroic name.  Accentuated with green faceted glass beads; blue vintage spacer glass beads; silver-plated metal beads and cones. Finished off with silver-plated chain, clasp and ear hooks.
 
Necklace measures at 20 1/2" long.
Earrings measure at 1 1/4" long.
